We build it, you approve it
We finish the new site with your details and photos. You check it on your phone and ask for any changes. Your current site carries on as normal meanwhile.

You keep your web address
presidentboilersltd.co.uk stays yours. We check who it's registered to at Nominet (the .uk registry). Right now its settings are run by your web provider's servers (ns1/ns2.kenspeckle.marketing), and the registrar isn't confirmed yet. Then either you give us access, or we guide you through a free transfer or a simple settings change.

We switch it over
We point your address at the new site at a time that suits you, usually out of hours. It's normally live within a few hours, with no downtime: the old site stays up until the new one takes over.

Your email keeps working
Your Yahoo address isn't touched at all. We checked your domain's email settings: they point to your current host's mail service. Before switching we check whether anyone uses an @presidentboilersltd.co.uk mailbox and, if so, move it first so nothing gets lost.

Cancel the old plan when you're happy
Once everything's working, you cancel your current care plan. Check their notice period first so there's no overlap or gap. We can help you with what to ask.

Questions you might have

Will I lose my search ranking or reviews?

Your Facebook reviews and any Business Profile reviews stay where they are — they don't live on your website. For search rankings, we keep your page addresses where we can, and set up redirects from every old page to the right new one, so links and search results carry over.

Do I have to do anything technical?

No. We handle the build, the switch-over and the checks. At most you might log in to approve a domain setting, and we'll talk you through it.

Is there a contract?

No. The website is a one-off payment, and the care plan is month to month. Stop whenever you like.

What do you need from me?

A few photos of real jobs if you'd like them used, and a time that suits you for the switch.
